The FLS can be reset to factory settings using the following reset sequence: Switch the FLS off and on again 4 times for 5 seconds each. When the light starts flashing, wait about 10 seconds for it to stop flashing. Switch the FLS off and on 2x for approx. The light is reset to factory settings when it flashes briefly. Reset to Factory defaults in Docker stable version Windows 10 - Dockerd docker engine service still refusing to start. Jan 11, 2020 Echoing the need for a way to ’Reset to factory defaults’ in the CLI. At the moment, the Docker Desktop GUI will hang on ’Updating’ when clicking on the button ’Reset to factory defaults’. Flatline-studios commented on Jun 30, 2020.Actual behavior
After the above procedure, the Icon is red and I didn’t find a way to return it to “status normal”.
The VM and docker are still ok. docker run -it busybox bin/sh works just fine!
The only way to reset DD icon is to exit and start again.Expected behavior
IMO there should be a “Status” command, that performs some checks eg:
*VM status
*docker version
*create / start / stop / remove a dummy container
*If the tests pass set Icon back to normal.Docker Factory Reset MacInformation
Log:
With a total of over 300000 downloads, NavContainerHelper is no more. As of this weekend, NavContainerHelper cannot be used to create containers anymore. There has been a lot of blog posts here on my blog and others that indicated that this day would come and now it is here… – all specific images are gone and with those all the “old” generic images, which was used by NavContainerHelper.
I will contact PowerShell Gallery to get the entry removed.
RIP NavContainerHelper, Long Live BcContainerHelper. A md5 hash er.
The recipe for changing from NavContainerHelper to BcContainerHelper goes here:
*Remove all containers (Get-NavContainers | Remove-NavContainer)
*Uninstall all versions of NavContainerHelper (UnInstall-Module NavContainerHelper -allversions)
*Restart PowerShell and check that NavContainerHelper is gone (else repeat step 2)
*Reset Docker to factory settings (to remove all images)
*Remove c:ProgramDataNavContainerHelper
*Install BcContainerHelper (Install-Module BcContainerHelper -force)
